About Karissa Eickhoff, PA-C

Karissa was born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was a competitive gymnast that continued into college at the University of Kentucky. After enduring multiple knee surgeries, her interest in the medical field and orthopedics was sparked. After retiring from gymnastics, she transferred to Indiana University where she volunteered as an Emergency Medical Technician and became passionate about becoming a Physician Assistant. She graduated cum laude and went on to study medicine at Midwestern University Physician Assistant Program. Upon graduating, she moved back to the Indianapolis area where she worked in orthopedics for six years. In 2022, she moved to Florida to continue her career in orthopedics. She is excited to be part of Sugar Orthopaedics and work with patients of all ages to get them back to activities they are passionate about. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors, walking and going to the pool with her husband, family and friends.
