About Josh Wilding, PA-C

Due to his father’s career in the military, Josh is accustomed to relocating, although he spent most of his childhood in southern Idaho, where he enjoyed the outdoors and multiple sports, all while tolerating the cold.  Throughout high school his passion was wrestling.  After high school Josh served a two year humanitarian mission in Belgium and France.  He was able to become fluent in French and grew to love the people, food, and history of Europe.

Josh chose to perform his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University – Idaho, where he met and married his sweetheart, Becci, in 2007.  Josh received a Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Sports Science in 2010.  It was during these studies that he was able to recognize his love for exercise, sports, and body mechanics.  He found that he could use this love in a rewarding career of medicine to improve others’ lives.  He went on to receive a Master’s in Physician Assistant Studies from Rocky Mountain College in Montana August 2014.

Shortly after graduation Josh and Becci received the opportunity to relocate their family to Florida.  Here, he was able to practice in orthopedics, specializing in hand and elbow issues, and general medicine.  Josh’s family includes 4 children:  2 girls, 2 boys, and a hamster named Theodore.  He enjoys spending his time with his wife and children boating, fishing, kayaking, running, and playing all sports.  Both Josh and Becci look forward to raising their children in south Florida, and enjoying the opportunities that this area affords.  Josh is excited for the opportunity to work with Dr. Sugar and his team to use his knowledge, as well as continue to learn and grow, all while enriching the lives of the patient’s he will treat.
